Motor vehicle accidents can cause great harm to the drivers and passengers involved. Sadly, motor vehicle accidents can sometimes even have fatal results. This can be seen in a deadly motor vehicle accident that occurred last week in California.
The accident happened last Saturday near Brawley, California. Reportedly, that afternoon, a car that was being driven by a 22-year-old man and a car that was being driven by a 25-year-old man collided in the intersection of Fredericks Road and State Route 86. Allegedly, the 22-year-old man's car had failed to yield.
Reportedly, this collision caused the 25-year-old man's car to roll. A 32-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, a 15-year-old girl and a 9-year-old girl were passengers of the 25-year-old man's car.
The 22-year-old man has been accused of having been drunk at the time of this motor vehicle accident. He was arrested after the crash.
Reportedly, the 18-year-old man and the 9-year-old girl died as a result of this motor vehicle accident. The accident also reportedly resulted in the 32-year-old woman, the 25-year-old man, the 22-year-old man and the 15-year-old girl suffering injuries.
As this crash illustrates, motor vehicle accidents can sometimes result in fatalities.
Thus, it is very important for motor vehicle drivers in California to do everything they reasonably can to prevent motor vehicle accidents. This includes practicing safe, responsible and attentive driving when behind the wheel. It also includes avoiding engaging in reckless conduct (such as driving while intoxicated) when out on the roads. If motor vehicle drivers fail to do these things, they could be putting the safety of individuals they share the road with at risk.
