When two motor vehicles collide, it can result in the drivers and passengers of the vehicles suffering injuries. Injuries suffered in a motor vehicle collision can have significant impacts on an individual's life. Thus, motor vehicle collisions can be very harmful.

Over the weekend, a motor vehicle accident occurred in California which caused three people to suffer injuries.

The accident happened on Sunday in Santa Ana. Reportedly, that night, a Mercury and a Toyota collided in the intersection of Flower Street and McFadden Avenue. According to authorities, one of these two vehicles had failed to obey a red light. Reportedly, police are not yet sure which of the two vehicles was the one which ran the red light.

This motor vehicle accident resulted in multiple individuals getting hurt. According to the Orange County Register article which reported this story, the crash caused:

  • The driver of the Toyota to sustain severe injuries
  • The driver of the Mercury to sustain moderate injuries
  • A passenger of the Mercury to sustain moderate injuries

As this crash illustrates, motor vehicle collisions can result in the individuals involved suffering harm.

Thus, it is very important for motor vehicle drivers in California to do everything they reasonably can to prevent motor vehicle collisions. This includes making sure to obey traffic signs and traffic lights. It also includes practicing safe, careful and attentive driving when out on the roads. If motor vehicle drivers fail to do these things, they could be putting their own safety and the safety of individuals they share the road with at risk.
